Travel notes
What to know
Gothenburg is a charming city that offers a unique blend of maritime history, cultural attractions, and lively atmosphere, making it an ideal destination for a festival trip. In September, the weather is usually mild, with occasional rain, so it's a good idea to pack layers and waterproof gear. The city is easily accessible by air, with nearby airports, or by train, with a major rail hub. Accommodation options range from budget-friendly to upscale, and local costs for food and transport are generally moderate. To plan your trip, consider booking your accommodation and travel in advance to ensure availability. Additionally, researching local transport options, such as public buses or bike rentals, can help you navigate the city easily and make the most of your festival experience.
