Travel notes

What to know

Vancouver is a vibrant city that usually offers a pleasant summer experience in July, with mild temperatures and potential sunshine. For a festival trip, it's a good idea to pack layers for cooler evenings and waterproof gear in case of rain. To get to Vancouver, many people fly into Vancouver International Airport or take the train to Pacific Central Station. Accommodation options vary, and it's a good idea to book in advance as prices can range widely. Food and local transport costs can add up, so consider budgeting accordingly. For dancers, it's practical to plan ahead and book accommodation near the Russian Hall venue or look into affordable transport options to get around the city. Additionally, consider registering for the event and purchasing any A La Carte options in advance to ensure availability.
